One of the more natural reserves for the fittest. But great rewards.
A lovely place for a long or short walk. Be aware of the tides as some paths are affected by them. The staff are fabulous, friendly and very helpful.
My first ever RSPB visit, thanks to the Xmas present of a membership from my daughter. This is a wonderful place for walking and birdwatching, with well maintained paths into the reserve, well placed hides, a tearoom and very enthusiastic staff.
It's been a few years since I've been here. They have a nice new wildlife pond with a shelter. There are new discovery walk. They also have a nice new toilet block. I used NCR 88 to get there which is a nice ride over farmland.
Fantastic place, we were lucky as the sun was shining in Ocober. Excellent paths and signs. There are also plenty of seats a long the paths if you need a rest. Staff are really friendly, they provided us with maps and excellent local knowledge. Too much to see in one visit so already planning to go back. There are plenty of birds, Dragon flies and butterflies to see along the route, but you you need to look closely to spot them.
